Want a Free Cookbook?

Everyone loves free stuff, right? I mean, that's part of why you come to check out this blog -- to see different ways to save money and get things free, when possible! So why don't we have a giveaway?

The prize will be an autographed copy of my new cookbook,
200 Slow Cooker Creations!

To be entered in the prize drawing, leave a comment with the details of a recent couponing deal you found, heard about, or benefited from.

The winner will be selected from the comments received, and I'll contact the winner for their mailing address. Simple as that!

Make your comments by July 24th, and I'll get the book in the mail to the winner on the 26th!

Good luck!!

I took advantage of Staples penny days. With store deals, store coupons, and a rewards check we only spent 1.98 in cash and will receive 10.96 back from a paper rebate! This was a huge money maker for us! I was so excited it actually worked out and items were in stock!!

My sister found a great deal at Ridley's--8 oz shredded cheddar 3 for ONE dollar! We needed cheese for 98 people, so she snatched it right up. Ridley's always has good deals in the back of the store. It is usually stuff that expires within the week, but if you are going to use it quick, who cares?!
ps-I really want to win! I HATE cooking in the summer heat, so the crock pot is my friend!

I don't know how recent you're wanting. I've been out of the couponing loop for a while but I did do the Princess and the Frog deal where I used price matching, a 5 dollar off coupon, and a 5 dollar rebate to get it for $6, not too bad for a new release!

I love getting a good deal- and coupons are definitely a good way to do that. I really love to use coupons and couple them with rebates- cha ching! I also love to use the Target coupons along with manufacture coupons to get double the savings!

My biggest success lately was a couple of weeks ago at Smiths when they rounded up coupons to a dollar. I ended up with free pasta, $.19 cool whip, $.25 goldfish crackers and all sorts of other great deals. I ended up saving about $40 in coupons that week.

My most recent saving was yesterday.
Last week I took my kids to Sonic during Happy Hour (half price non alcoholic drinks) and we just bought drinks and slushes. My receipt had an offer to call and complete a survey to receive a FREE Rt. 44 drink of my choice. I redeemed my FREE Rt. 44 yesterday! I love half price and even better.. FREE!
Whether I win or not... I'll be getting your cookbook! Just sayin'! :)

I LOVE couponing and don't get to do it nearly as often due to our budget! haha Who doesn't love the thrill. My last BIG coupon score was when Smiths rounded up all coupons to 1 buck. I spent $95 and saved $150 it was awesome!

The best coupon deal I did this week was using a $1 coupon for Tide which was on sale at Target. I also had a $1 off store coupon from Target, so I got the 50 oz. size for $2.99...

The latest deals I've done is cereal, where I got boxes of cereal for under a dollar, and also salad dress for 50 cent, which will help great with our girls camp budget, since I had enough coupons to get some for that too.

I used some manufacturers coupons and Target coupons to get a Johnson's baby wash, Johnson's baby lotion, a Nivea bodywash and a Dove deodorant for $3-$4 total... I was very happy with that trip!

I so want this book! Anyway I went shopping with the grocery guru and he gave out 3 dollars off fat boy icecream coupons making them .99 a box! We never get them because they are so expensive.

I found the Quiznos coupon online for a combo meal for 2.99 so that is a great deal for a meal out for the family over the holiday weekend. LR:)
