Remember when I talked about Register Rewards at Walgreens? Well, today was a great example of what to do with them once you have them. I had 3 register rewards of $4.50 each from the Crest mouthwash deal about 2 weeks ago. Today, I "bought" 6 Reach brand really fancy Dental Floss on sale for 2/$5.00 so $15.00 total. I "paid" $13.50 in Register Rewards (RR) and about $2.46 out of pocket (OOP). I also got $15.00 in RR at the end of the transactions. (I did 3 separate transactions- 2 dental floss in each). So, really I only "paid" about $0.41 for each floss. YIPPEEE!!! I can't wait to hold on to my RRs and see what else I can get for virtually nothing. :)

Subtotal for 6 total Dental Flosses: $15.96
Paid with previous RR: $13.50
Remaining Balance paid OOP: $2.46
Received $15.00 in RR
So when all is said and done, taking into account what I "earned" in RR, I got 6 flosses for$0 .96 cents total
TOTAL Savings (combining sales, and RR): $28.98
